Job Summary

The Work Study Student will support the Performing Arts Center on the Statesboro Campus beginning Fall 2024.



Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with the daily operations of the Performing Arts Center, including customer service interactions, crowd control, and cleaning
  • Assists the Technical Director with production load-ins and load-outs
  • Assists the Patron Services Manager with event Ticket Operations
  • Assists with Front of House duties including Will Call, Ushering, and ticket sales

Shift Specifics

  • Up to 20 hours per week
  • Flexible with schedule of availability
  • Shifts scheduled between 1:00PM - 4:00PM
  • Some nights and weekends are required

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.

Other Required Qualifications

  • Must be Federal Work eligible.

Proposed Salary

$12.00 per hour



This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
