We are looking to fill 2 position as we are growing our Medical Deveice/Consumer Productss HFE team!

-1-Human Factor Engineering professional - Mid level

Our company is growing and we have an elite team!  

-Base Salary IS DOE. AND about $85K  and up, (2-5 yrs) and Senior (5++ yrs.) to $140K.

You will be responsible for providing expert Human Factors advice to design teams, supporting product development and validation studies, and managing the implementation of Human Factors engineering best practices. If you have a passion for product design and development, are detail-oriented, results-driven, and have an eye for innovation, then this role is for you!

What You Will Be Doing

As a Senior Human Factors Engineer, you will be involved in all aspects of product development, from user interface & usability testing to motion study and usability engineering.  

You will also collaborate with other design teams to ensure compliance with requirements and regulations.  

Additionally, you will be responsible for carrying out research activities such as heuristic analysis, usability testing, and ethnographic research.

What You Need for this Position

We are looking for a Senior Human Factors Engineer with at least 5 years of professional experience in the consumer products/Medical Device industry. Candidates should possess:

  • Proven experience developing Use Error Analysis/Use Related Risk Analysis, identification of critical tasks and executing Human Factors Validation Studies.
  • Strong understanding of Human Factors & Ergonomics, Design Control, PCA, ANSI/AAMI/IEC 62366, FDA, SolidWorks, Regulatory, Quantitative Data, Risk Analyses, and UI/UX.  
  • Familiarity with Medical Device standards such as 60601 & HE 75, 13485, and HFE is a plus. A consultative and digital-first mentality, along with excellent product development, industrial, and resource management skills are also required.
