As a Lead Project Engineer here at Honeywell, you will coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective project coordination. Your monitoring of project progress and adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards will help maintain project efficiency and deliver high-quality results. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage complex engineering projects from initiation to completion
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
• Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery
• Provide technical guidance and support to project team members
• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders



COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

The annual base salary range for this position is <$146 - $183> . Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • BS EE, BS ME, Systems Engineering, Control Systems, Project Engineering, or a similar engineering degree
  • Minimum of 15 years experience in project engineering or systems engineering
  • Project engineering experience estimating, planning, scheduling, and implementing budget control for engineering work.
  • Minimum 7+ years of turbo machinery experience
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

  • Experience with ETC Manager
  • Experience and proficiency in EVMS
  • In depth understanding of Turbo Machinery and electrical mechanical equipment
  • Experience in System Engineering
  • Experience in reporting project progress to internal/external leadership
  • Composition of PowerPoint presentations for peer reviews, team meetings, program design reviews, and phase gate activities
  • Familiarity with aircraft and aerospace testing standards, such as DO-178B, DO-160
  • Knowledge of systems and project engineering best practices, systems integration, verification of requirements, and validation of system functionality
