Job Description : Old Town family of 4 - single mother and three daughters—is seeking an experienced Live-In Nanny. The ideal candidate is seeking a long-term position with a loving family. Start as soon as possible.

Schedule: Guaranteed 40 hours, M-F, 7:00am-9:00am, 3:00pm-9:00pm. Occasional overnights and one Saturday per month are a requirement of the position. Nanny would have a private bedroom and bathroom suite.

Compensation : $20-$25/hour + vacation, holidays, sick days; all room & board (food, utilities, etc.) are included as part of compensation.

Job Details and Responsibilities:  

• The care will be for three children, ages 12, 10, and 7. All children are in full-time school.
• Responsibilities are for the day-to-day care of the children such as planning and preparing nutritious meals, prepping school lunches, p ick up/drop off children from school, summer camps, activities and help with maintaining their schedule and tracking their school and activity calendars. Light housekeeping will be needed such as children's laundry, family's dishes (emptying/loading dishwasher), tidying children's bedrooms and common areas, ordering and organizing groceries, helping maintain a clean and organized household.
• Parent works from home 1-3 days a week in a separate office space. Nanny should be comfortable with this arrangement .
• Would like Nanny to travel with the family a few times a year (not required).

Qualifications:  

• Nanny should have extensive, verifiable nannying experience. Has worked with multiple children at a time.
• Nanny is looking for a long-term commitment with the family.
• Nanny should be warm and caring. Will be able to foster a positive relationship with the family.
• Nanny should be self-sufficient and a good communicator. Will be able to plan activities and keep track of children’s needs. Ability to take initiative, be proactive, and anticipate family's needs.
• Driving is required for the role. The family will provide a vehicle. Candidate should have a safe driving record and be comfortable driving in the city.
• COVID and Flu vaccinations are preferred.
