Position: Finance Manager

Role Overview
As a Finance Manager, you will play a key role in providing financial planning and analysis support to clients in our portfolio of high-growth startups. Working closely with other senior finance leaders, you'll collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and build financial models that inform their growth strategies. This role offers the opportunity to work with companies at various stages of their journey (from Seed to Series C), helping them refine their financial operations and make data-driven decisions. You'll take ownership of finance forecasts, budgets, and analyses, while also contributing to key strategic projects.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain detailed financial models for a variety of business types (e-commerce, tech, consumer products, professional services).
- Develop performance reports and customized financial and operational KPI dashboards; track and report on KPIs monthly.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to review and verify monthly financial performance.
- Conduct monthly variance analysis, comparing actuals to budget and adjusting forecasts as needed.
- Identify opportunities for additional analytical and modeling projects to create value for clients beyond the regular budgeting process.
- Offer insights and advice based on industry best practices to optimize client results, streamline processes, reduce costs, and drive growth.
- Use data analysis to uncover strategic insights and identify key business trends.
- Support clients during fundraising by building investor-facing financial models and managing the financial diligence process.
- Help mentor and train the Financial Analyst team to foster internal growth and strengthen FP&A skills.

Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in finance, including:
- 2+ years in investment banking and/or consulting.
- 2+ years of FP&A or strategic finance experience at a technology or high-growth company.
- Strong team player with a positive work ethic and a collaborative mindset.
- Advanced financial modeling and presentation skills.
- Solid understanding of financial principles, with growing expertise in accounting practices.
- Ability to create complex financial forecasts, perform detailed variance analysis, and provide insights that guide business decisions.
- Comfort with data, ambiguity, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas and provide actionable recommendations.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple client workstreams and meet deadlines.
- Passion for mentoring and sharing knowledge to help others develop their FP&A expertise.
