Position Summary:   

T he Director, Operations Program Management plays an integral role supporting the strategy development and infrastructure team by providing best in class project management assistance. This position is instrumental in managing projects across the company that will have an impact on operational efficiency, cost control, network infrastructure and standardization. The Director, Operations Program Management works in partnership with the Strategy Development & Infrastructure leadership team and other senior leaders.

 

  Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:  

  • Identify, develop, and integrate supply chain management processes and methods for responsive, robust, and balanced demand-supply performance
  • Support accountability for sustainability strategies and business results
  • Lead Quality, Safety and Environmental relationship with Coca-Cola North America Operating Unit (NAOU)
  • Coordinate Annual Mission Planning Process
  • Program management of complex and cross-functional infrastructure projects
  • Coordinate and lead internal resources and third parties/vendors in the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
  • Measure project performance, monitor budgets as well as return on investment using appropriate systems, financial modeling tools, and techniques
  • Communicate project progress with key stakeholders and Executive Sponsors as needed
  • Develop presentation materials for executive review
  • Engage and influence cross-functional partners to collaborate on project objectives
  • Improve supply chain capabilities, i.e., people, process, tools, etc., required to plan shipment of products to multiple markets at consistent service levels
  • Collaborate with Facility leadership to regularly evaluate the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements
  • Improve cost effectiveness while ensuring adherence to all quality, safety, and social responsibility requirements
  • Improve and implement network strategies that enable the company to deliver high service levels to customers
  • Revise and/or create policies and support their implementation
  • Other projects or duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:  

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10 plus years of related experience in supply chain operations and 6 plus years of people leadership experience or HS Diploma/GED with 13 plus years of related experience in supply chain operations and 7 plus years of people leadership experience
  • Experience in the food and/or beverage distribution industry and/or a consulting firm
  • Extensive knowledge of diverse business functions and principles i.e., Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Service, Human Resources, etc.
  • Strong data analysis skills experience with operations metrics
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Ability to prioritize competing priorities within a complex and changing environment
  • Excellent change management skills i.e., principles, practices, etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with all levels of an organization
  • Excellent relationship building skills with all levels within an organization
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience working in a matrix, cross-functional, cross-cultural, team environment
  • Travel up to 50%
  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test

Preferred Skills and Experience:  

  • Master’s degree in business administration or relevant field
  • Project Management Certification
