Job Description

Our client is in search of a compassionate and seasoned Registered Nurse (RN) to enhance their exceptional care team. The available position is for a Weekend Home Health RN, tasked with overseeing and implementing patient care plans in Carnegie, PA, and its vicinity. This full-time role demands on-call availability during weekends and necessitates local travel to visit patients. The perfect candidate will have an associate degree, hold a current RN license in Pennsylvania, and bring at least one year of professional RN experience.

Qualifications:

Mandatory:

• An Associate degree or higher.
• At least one year of experience in any of the following areas:

- Clinical Documentation

- Clinical Informatics

- Clinical Quality

• At least one year of experience with:

- Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

- Practice Partner EMR.

• A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania (PA).

• Possession of all the following licenses/certifications:

- American Red Cross Advanced Life Support (ARC ALS)

- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)

Preferred:

• RN License number

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and collaborate in the management and execution of patient care plans.
• Provide support to patients in Carnegie/Crafton, PA, and nearby areas.
• Allocate roughly 20% of work hours to travel to and from patient locations.
• Maintain strict adherence to charting deadlines.
• Efficiently manage time and organize schedule.

Schedule and Shift Details:

• On-call responsibilities on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, plus 8 units on both Saturday and Sunday and two holidays annually.

Travel:

• This position requires local travel.
