• Compensation: Starting at $30/hour (commensurate with experience)
• Location:  100% Remote

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Tutor to join our dynamic team at E-Therapy. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing high-quality educational services to students with academic needs, collaborating with school staff, and ensuring compliance with all educational standards and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and/or group sessions to students to address academic, personal, social, and career development needs, including but not limited to academic performance, interpersonal relationships, and career exploration.
• Conduct screenings to identify students' strengths, needs, and concerns, and develop appropriate interventions and support plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and community resources to create a supportive and inclusive school environment that promotes student success and well-being.
• Facilitate classroom lessons, workshops, and presentations on topics such as study skills, conflict resolution, stress management, and career planning.
• Assist students in developing academic and career goals, exploring post-secondary education and career options, and navigating the college application and scholarship process.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of sessions, screenings, interventions, and referrals.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, and school-wide initiatives to support student success and address systemic issues affecting student well-being.

Qualifications:

• PA Teaching Certificate
• Previous experience working as a teacher or tutor in a school or educational setting (preferred).
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with students, families, and school staff.
• Experience in teletherapy or online counseling services (preferred).

Physical Requirements (Remote Work):

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods and use a computer keyboard and mouse for typing and navigating software applications. The employee must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with colleagues and clients. Occasionally, the employee may need to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and lift or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
