Job Description

We're seeking a positive, dedicated, and articulate Travel Counselor to provide exceptional customer service in a supportive, professional environment. This role is ideal for someone with customer service experience who enjoys assisting mature travelers with their journey planning and ensuring they receive personalized care and attention before, during, and after their tours.

As a key member of the Reservations and Customer Service team, you'll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact, offering the highest level of service to our valued guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist incoming customer calls with a focus on both service and sales, ensuring a professional and positive experience.
Maintain impeccable telephone etiquette on all calls.
Make outbound calls as needed for various purposes, such as collections, date consolidation, and follow-up calls.
Update and maintain accurate reservation information in line with company standards.
Perform administrative duties such as data entry and quality assurance to support the team's goals.
Foster strong, collaborative relationships with colleagues to achieve departmental objectives and a positive work environment.
Participate in team calls to better understand departmental processes and policies.
Take on additional projects as assigned to support overall team success.

Qualifications:

At least two years of experience in a customer service or contact center role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly and empathetic approach when speaking with guests.
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Experience with international travel (outside of North America) is preferred.
Contact center experience is a plus.
