Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Intelligence, this role provides leadership in process and tool development within the supply chain organization. The Senior Supply Chain Analyst will oversee planning for finished goods, subassemblies, and raw materials, contributing to strategic business objectives. Responsibilities include assessing and enhancing manufacturing site planning capabilities, conducting supply planning analytics, and leading improvement initiatives to resolve service issues and optimize inventory management.
Stakeholders/Customers
This position collaborates extensively with Marketing Product Managers, Plant Supply Chain/Operations, S&OP/Demand Planners, External Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Customer Service, Master Data, Distribution, Transportation, and Business Analytics Teams.
Position Qualifications
Knowledge:
Demonstrates a Growth Mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and learning.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Access, SQL, and other data management tools.
Experience with Supply Planning Tools and ERP systems; knowledge of SAP ECC, R3, APO, and Business Warehouse preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
Maintains composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations; adept at managing ambiguity.
Friendly, service-oriented, and adaptable team player with cross-functional expertise in manufacturing, distribution, sourcing, and transportation.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines independently.
Effective communicator capable of simplifying complex supply chain concepts for diverse audiences.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in inventory management and supply planning, preferably in a production planning environment.
Excellent analytical skills with expertise in Excel and data visualization tools; project management experience is a plus.
Experience in product lifecycle management, new product introductions, and supply chain optimization.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field; APICS-CPIM certification is advantageous.
Travel:
Up to 10% travel required; valid passport necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead initiatives to address complex supply chain issues and implement effective solutions.
Analyze and optimize supply planning processes, driving improvements across multiple categories.
Maintain accurate forecast rollouts and manage inventory targets to minimize obsolete stock.
Manage tactical projects such as product code transitions and new product launches.
Collaborate on distribution center forecast splits and sourcing strategies.
Drive initiatives to optimize working capital through effective inventory management.
Provide training and support to manufacturing site planners on planning systems and technical issues.
Ensure data integrity across planning systems and support customer service and working capital goals.
Foster team capability through training, relationship-building, and collaborative problem resolution.
