Position Overview

The Power BI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust data models in Power BI.
• Design and create interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver BI solutions.
• Optimize Power BI dashboards and reports for performance and usability.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and reports.
• Maintain documentation of BI solutions, including data models, configurations, and user guides.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Power BI, including advanced DAX calculations, data modeling, and report development.
• Strong experience with SQL and data modeling.
• Knowledge of advanced Power BI features such as composite models and AI visuals.
• Familiarity with Power BI Service, workspaces, apps, and report sharing.
• Ability to optimize Power BI performance through data model enhancements and query tuning.
• Familiarity with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) is a plus but not required.
• Understanding of data governance principles and compliance standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
