Role Description: We are currently seeking a full-time Sponsorship Sales Manager with hybrid responsibilities. This role will be responsible for sponsorship sales as well as new business development, lead generation, and account management. The position is based at our US Headquarters in New York City (535 5th Ave) but offers flexibility for remote work.
Qualifications: To be successful in this role you should have experience in sponsorship sales as well as proven skills in new business development and lead generation. Account management experience is also preferred. Excellent communication skills are essential along with the ability to work independently both remotely or onsite at our headquarters. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field is required along with a strong understanding of event sponsorship and marketing industry trends. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is also necessary.
Role Responsibilities Day to day responsibilities includes: - Market research and lead sourcing of solution provider companies (sponsors) for our conferences and Select business
- Our ideal candidate would have a strong knowledge of the events and conference industry with an interest in the technology space.
- Prospect for new business and build a full pipeline of sales prospects, outreach through written, voice and online engagement
- Create effective and persuasive proposals, building bespoke sponsorship opportunities to match prospect’s lead generation needs and goals by incorporating our full product range
- Oversee the full sales cycle managing revenue delivery against both required baseline business metrics and growth targets
- Work closely with the IDGA Content, Marketing and Operations experts to ensure the successful delivery of online programs.
- Develop long term business relationships with clients, focusing on quality of service and client satisfaction to drive repeat business.
