About the role: 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced social media marketer to join our team as a Social Media Marketing Manager. This instrumental role on the growth team requires a creative, community-centric person who is able to drive the creation of memorable content and nurture positive community interactions on multiple platforms, while maintaining a clear path to achieving our business goals. This role has no hybrid or in office mandates, however, we are seeking candidates local to our Boston, New York, Madison, or Chicago offices for as needed on site work. 

Scope of responsibilities: 

Content Development:

  • Help manage a content calendar from planning and ideation through to publishing content that aligns with marketing initiatives, new product rollouts and social goals.
  • Concept and create social-first shareable content that reflects our voice and tone, sparks conversations, and captivates our audience across platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal creative teams to produce high-quality, engaging content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Manage social sweepstakes strategy, working closely with internal legal teams in rules management and winner notifications and prizes.

Community Nurturing:

  • Engage with our social communities using on-brand dialogue to cultivate brand love and address any customer support concerns.
  • Initiate and maintain meaningful conversations within the social communities on both owned content, and earned content via social listening.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to surprise and delight our audience within the social ecosystem.

Reporting:

  • Own reporting for social media platforms, pulling insights and actionable next steps from the data to guide social strategy. 
  • Share wins and opportunities in various meetings to show the power of social in reaching Fetch’s and our partners goals.

Cross-Collaboration:

  • Foster a culture of collaboration by working hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams to amplify our brand presence.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives to maximize social media impact.

Skills we believe you’ll need for this position: 

  • 3+ years of direct proven experience in a social media role with both a creative and community portfolio.
  • Naturally creative with a refined ability to identify and nurture compelling visual stories.
  • Comfortable taking risks, pushing ideas, and pivoting with urgency when needed.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, analytics, and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of content development and storytelling for various digital channels.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey ideas effectively.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.

Compensation: 

At Fetch, we offer competitive compensation packages to the exceptional folks we hire. The base salary range for this position is $55,000-$65,000. We also offer all employees equity in Fetch, so that everyone can benefit from Fetch’s growth.
