Job Title: Social Media Marketing Leader
Responsibilities:
Lead and Collaborate: Report directly to the VP of Marketing and Publicity. As a key leader within the Originals Marketing team, guide social efforts for major campaigns and streamline processes to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
Cross-Functional Engagement: Act as a collaborative team member, actively engaging with internal teams to shape and execute the overall Originals marketing strategy.
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with talent, representatives, and studio partners. Serve as a central point of contact for social-related inquiries and issues involving talent.
Strategic Alignment: Work closely with internal teams (Content, Publicity, Social, and Creative Marketing) to align on campaign strategies and execution, ensuring delivery on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Innovative Activation: Inspire and lead the development of creative and first-to-market experiences, activations, and content to drive social conversations and enhance sentiment.
Path Clearing: Facilitate the implementation of groundbreaking experiences, ensuring smooth execution and delivery.
Media Coordination: Collaborate with the media team to ensure that creative and media investments are well-aligned and effective.
Budget Management: Track and manage the budget and spending for social initiatives.
Partnership Management: Work with external partners and agencies to implement content marketing and social initiatives.
Content Strategy: Drive the organic and paid social content strategy to foster deeper conversations and earned media around Originals.
Audience Analysis: Identify new audiences and focus areas for existing audiences. Collaborate cross-functionally to explore business opportunities and develop marketing tactics.
Performance Analysis: Regularly analyze performance metrics, making recommendations for improvements and adjustments.
Goal Redefinition: Help redefine social goals across channels and shows, striving to evolve and enhance our approach to be best in class.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with social media marketers to deliver excellence and develop best practices, strategies, and approaches.
Standardization: Coordinate and develop social media standards, strategies, and approaches with other departments to meet business objectives.
Inclusive Approach: Provide thought leadership on embedding inclusive and culturally relevant practices in cross-company initiatives, including authentic representation and storytelling.
Requirements:
Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in social media and digital marketing, preferably within a network or studio environment.
Leadership: Experience managing direct reports and leading cross-functional teams.
Collaboration Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative working style, capable of inspiring and motivating teams to achieve goals.
Campaign Success: Proven track record of developing and executing large-scale campaigns using data and metrics to measure impact and guide strategy.
Agency Management: Experience managing external agencies, partners, and talent independently.
Social Media Expertise: Deep understanding of the entertainment social media landscape, including platform best practices and consumer behavior.
Results-Oriented: Proven ability to build and grow social followings across various channels, driving activation and engagement.
Presentation Skills: Experience presenting campaign results to external talent, stakeholders, and internal executives.
