As a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the security mission within our client's Regional Security Operations Center (RSOC) and Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). You will be responsible for overseeing operations within the GPS control room across all client sites in your region. Your mission is to collaborate with leadership to ensure best practices that safeguard our people, buildings, and assets.

In this role, you will protect clients across various sectors including Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, and Government.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver exceptional customer service by executing safety and security protocols, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm, problem-solving approach.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with working conditions varying by client site.
- Adhere to RSOC and GSOC standard operating procedures, managing the SOC in shift patterns as required.
- Provide top-notch service to local and remote client sites, emphasizing the security and safety of client staff, assets, and information.
- Monitor operational network video cameras and operate all SOC technologies, including network video and access control systems.
- Coordinate actions and responses to incidents and alarm activations.
- Prepare reports for the SOC Shift Manager to share with GPS management on a daily/weekly/monthly basis, delivering high-quality written and verbal reports as needed.
- Handle telephone inquiries and maintain accurate logs of events.
- Actively monitor and respond to critical systems alarms, such as physical security systems alarms and fire panels.
- Contribute to world-class Global Security services by understanding and working closely with technical security implementations and incident management programs.
- Serve as the initial point of contact in emergency situations that may affect employee health and safety.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external responders during critical incidents.
- Foster cross-organizational relationships to encourage risk information sharing.
- Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating needs, offering suggestions, and exceeding expectations.
- Monitor multiple screens, systems, and events simultaneously, with the ability to shift priorities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

- At least two (2) years of security operations experience or previous experience in a Global Security, Command, or similar 24x7 operations center environment.
- Experience in basic security analysis, problem-solving, handling preliminary inquiries, incident assessment, and triaging reports.
- High proficiency in IT applications, data entry and retrieval, and keyboard skills with a typing speed of at least 25wpm and at least 75% accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of technical elements associated with security systems, such as IP networks, servers, and LAN/WAN.
- Basic understanding of data protection policies, such as GDPR, and the importance of keeping sensitive information secure.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond to incidents, particularly in emergencies, in a professional, resilient, and timely manner with minimal supervision when appropriate.
- Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD).
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, handle multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and effective utilization of office management technology.
- Professional demeanor, articulate communication, and the ability to exercise good independent judgment and discretion. Must maintain correspondence, discussions, and materials in strictest confidence. Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Current state driver's license, clean driving record (no points in the prior 3 years), minimum level of insurance as required by company policy, and ability to safely operate a vehicle.
- Professional communication skills and the ability to interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients, while functioning as a team player.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
