Join our team as a Senior Software Exploit Developer, where you'll play a key role in supporting advanced Red Team Assessments for critical U.S. Government and DoD networks. You'll have the exciting opportunity to develop cutting-edge tools and techniques for cyber assessment operations, helping to protect vital systems against potential threats.
Key Responsibilities:
Tool and Exploit Development: Create innovative tools, exploits, and code for Red Cyber operations. Perform open-source research on cyber vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques.
Reverse Engineering: Utilize your expertise to reverse-engineer and analyze source code for developing effective tools and exploits.
Programming Skills: Write and develop scripts in various programming languages (e.g., C, C++), and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and compliance.
TTP Analysis: Analyze operational Techniques, Tactics, and Procedures (TTPs), and develop exploits and scripts to automate and enhance operational processes.
Documentation: Document the safe and secure usage of internally and externally developed tools according to Red Team policies and procedures.
DevOps Support: Support or conduct DevOps reviews of code to ensure operational approval.
Exploit Customization: Adapt existing proof-of-concept code to build and tailor exploits for Command and Control (C2) tools.
C2 Tool Development: Assist in the development and fine-tuning of C2 tools to enhance effectiveness and minimize detection risks.
Urgent Development: Address urgent development requests as needed, including the rapid assembly, testing, and approval of tools and exploits within 24 hours of identifying a vulnerability.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in related fields.
Clearance: TS with the ability to obtain SCI. TS/SCI eligibility is preferred.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Schedule: Hybrid work arrangement (4 days in office, 1 day remote).
Environment: Typical office setting with potential for extensive domestic and international travel and exposure to various weather conditions.
Physical Requirements: May include sitting, walking, talking, hearing, reading, writing, keyboarding, driving, filing, reaching, stooping, crouching, bending, standing for extended periods, and lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds.
