Position Details:

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students.
• Conduct assessments to identify students’ social emotional and behavioral needs.
• Develop and implement intervention plans to support students’ wellbeing.
• Collaborate with teachers parents and administrators to create supportive learning environments.
• Connect families with community resources and services.
• Offer crisis intervention and support as needed.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions for staff and parents on topics related to mental health and social services.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and interventions.
• Stay current with best practices and developments in the field of social work.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field.
• Valid Minnesota Social Work license.
• Strong understanding of child development mental health issues and social services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
