Job Description

Fusion Consulting is seeking an experienced SAP CO (FICO) Consultant with expertise in SAP S/4HANA for an exciting project within the pharmaceutical industry. In this role, you will work closely with our clients to implement and optimize SAP Controlling (CO) processes while ensuring seamless integration with financial accounting (FI). This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your technical knowledge and industry expertise in a regulated, fast-paced environment.

What you will be doing:

• Lead the design, configuration and implementation of SAP S/4HANA CO modules, in detail Overhead Cost Controlling (CO-OM), including Cost Center Accounting and Internal Orders; Product Cost Controlling (CO-PC); Profit Center Accounting (PCA) and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
• Work closely with pharmaceutical clients to gather business requirements, ensuring compliance with industry-specific regulations and financial processes.
• Integrate SAP CO modules with SAP FI and other related modules, such as MM and SD, ensuring smooth and efficient business operations.
• Provide expert guidance on best practices for controlling processes, such as cost allocation, budgeting and profitability analysis.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions for client teams to ensure a deep understanding of SAP CO functionalities within the pharmaceutical context.
• Support the testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting.
• Offer post-implementation support, troubleshooting issues and optimizing system performance for pharmaceutical clients.
• Stay up-to-date with SAP S/4HANA updates and provide insights on how to leverage new functionalities for clients in the pharmaceutical sector.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as an SAP CO Consultant, with significant hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong understanding of SAP CO processes, including Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Product Cost Controlling (CO-PC), Internal Orders (CO-OM) and Profitability Analysis with Margin Analysis.
• Experience working on projects within the pharmaceutical industry is a strong advantage, with knowledge of industry regulations and financial practices.
• Proficiency in SAP FI integration and familiarity with related modules (MM, SD).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering solutions tailored to client needs in a regulated industry.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead workshops and training sessions for pharmaceutical clients.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
