Position Overview: Salesforce Administrator
As a Salesforce Administrator, reporting to the Director of Sales Data & Systems, you will play a crucial role in supporting our existing admin team. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and customize the Salesforce platform to meet our organization's needs. This is a full-time, fully remote position, with the option for NYC-based employees to work in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage system admin duties for the Sales Cloud, supporting 170+ users (and growing).
Collaborate with other Admins across various systems (Salesforce Health Cloud, Revenue Systems, Hubspot, Gainsight) on cross-functional projects and system maintenance.
Partner with IT and security teams to provision and manage Salesforce user accounts.
Develop and enhance necessary automations in Salesforce (e.g., Flows, CRM-Analytics Data Manager).
Support the Systems team with tools integrating with Salesforce (e.g., Hubspot, RingLead, Gong, ZoomInfo) and proprietary tools.
Work with Data Foundations and Business Intelligence teams to ensure robust data architecture impacting reporting systems (e.g., Snowflake, Looker).
Improve overall data architecture across standard and custom objects, documenting data flows between systems.
Provide administrative support for various Salesforce ad-hoc requests, including troubleshooting, maintenance, reporting, and data modifications.
Manage security and governance concerning profiles, roles, permissions, and sharing rules.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications for Salesforce development.
Conduct database maintenance tasks, including bulk updates and data cleansing.
Success Metrics:
Achieve 80%+ on-time delivery of the systems roadmap (excluding intentional deprioritization).
Resolve support tickets within 2 business days.
Attain a 15% improvement in Salesforce customer satisfaction (CSAT) scores.
What We're Looking For:
2+ years of Salesforce administration experience, ideally with the "Salesforce Administrator" certification.
Understanding of Salesforce data infrastructure (Standard & Custom objects), process automation (Flows), reporting, dashboards, security, and data management (Data Import Wizard/Dataloader).
Familiarity with tools such as Gong, Hubspot, Outreach, ZoomInfo, RingLead, SalesNavigator, Looker, or Xappex G-Connector is a plus but not required.
Proficiency in data analysis and formulas using Google Sheets or Excel (e.g., VLookup, Avg/Sum/Count).
Strong aptitude for identifying opportunities to enhance systems and processes.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to spot discrepancies in data and gaps in processes.
A quick learner, adaptable to new technologies and processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of summarizing findings and ideas clearly.
Strong project and time management skills, along with exceptional organizational abilities.
Compensation and Benefits:
The target base salary range for this position is $86,000 - $106,250, accompanied by a competitive total rewards package, including stock options and benefits. Individual compensation may vary based on experience, location, and other relevant factors. We conduct annual reviews of our pay and compensation programs to ensure they remain competitive and equitable.
