Restaurant Consultant – Menu & Cocktail Engineer  required for a leading platform that helps restaurants and bars manage their beverage programs with precision and profitability

Location: Remote | Department: Customer Success | Employment Type: Full-Time

The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of experience in the restaurant industry and demonstrate deep expertise in menu profitability analysis, recipe costing, and sales performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Customer Success Managers to deliver customized menu engineering projects for their managed service customers.
• Analyze menu data to determine the profitability and popularity of individual dishes and cocktails.
• Provide actionable recommendations on menu design, pricing, and item placement to drive sales and maximize profit margins.
• Utilize industry knowledge to craft innovative cocktail recipes tailored to customer needs and market trends.
• Collaborate with clients to align menu strategies with operational capabilities and brand identity.
• Deliver presentations and reports that clearly outline analysis findings and strategic recommendations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of restaurant industry trends, menu engineering best practices, and customer preferences.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in the restaurant industry, with a strong background in menu development and beverage program management.
• Proven success in previous restaurant consulting projects, with the ability to provide tangible examples during the interview process.
• Expertise in analyzing the profitability and popularity of menu items, including deep knowledge of recipe costing and sales performance.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with clients at all levels.
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
