Position: Research Assistant

Desired Characteristics/skills of the candidate: Smart, detail oriented, adaptable, self-starter with a ‘Can-do’ attitude. We understand this is a multifaceted job and you will not know all aspects of your job. Our expectation is for you to research and seek assistance/guidance from your colleagues as needed to grow into this role. Excellent written/verbal communications skills a must. Experience with technical and/or grant writing a plus.
Education/Experience: B.S or M.S. (preferred major Physical science/engineering). 1-2 years of experience working in a lab setting preferred. Experience in solution-based chemistry/synthesis is a plus.
Location & Timings: Evanston, IL. Monday through Friday 8 hours per day, flexible schedule. This position is majority onsite while partial work can be done remotely.
MSDS: You will be handling non-hazardous/non-toxic substances. However, working with various reagents requires careful handling of lab equipment.
