Job Title: Registered Nurse - Wound Care (Nursing)

Location: Lawrenceville, GA, 30046

Shft Type: 7 am - 4:30 pm Mon-Fri

Duration: 13 weeks (Possible Extension)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Wound Care to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in wound care management, along with the necessary certifications and skills to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for those with wounds or pressure injuries.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
• Perform advanced wound care procedures and treatments according to established protocols.
• Educate patients and their families on wound care techniques and prevention strategies.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of wound care best practices and emerging therapies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to wound care management.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in wound care nursing.
• Current RN license in Gerogia state.
• Required certifications: CWON(R) or CWOCN(R).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
