We are seeking a Wirtgen Recycling Applications Specialist to join our team !  The ideal location would be in Tennessee or Southern United States.

The Recycling Applications Specialist will provide technical support and applications expertise for the Wirtgen recycling products while establishing him/herself as the product expert by demonstrating extensive product knowledge, developing key relationships with factory or industry experts and creating a value-add partnership with dealers and customers in the U.S. and Canada.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Learn and master the entire Recycling Products portfolio, including specifications, features, components, operations and maintenance
  • Understand the industry and marketplace in a way that presents opportunities for sales, service and training
  • Work closely with area sales managers to assist in finding technical solutions for customer-specific needs, including professional demonstrations, job site solutions, and competitive comparisons.
  • Plan, schedule and deliver product training for customers and dealers in formal and informal settings
  • Monitor machine performance and develop new techniques to reduce losses by increasing productive application capabilities
  • Recommend and implement changes to recycling products which would improve cost, delivery, and quality for the customer
  • Perform professional demonstrations and manage specific product start-ups in the field with customers
  • Produce competitive analysis materials comparing product with its key competitors
  • Work closely with service department concerning service issues.
  • Attend various industry shows and events to support the brand and products
  • Travel 70% (monthly average) to visit customers with area managers, dealer salespersons and perform product training; may include international travel
  • Perform other related responsibilities for Recycling Products

Education and Experience:

· Associate degree or higher (Bachelor’s degree preferred) and/or experience in road construction, pavement recycling or soil stabilization; or combination of education and experience
