REPORTS TO: Vice President of People & Culture

LOCATION: Corporate Office, Fayetteville, AR

Position Summary

We are looking for a talented and experienced Recruiter to play a key role in attracting, selecting, and onboarding top talent for our company. As a recruiter at CARDS, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to facilitating interviews. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of talent acquisition, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers to best build high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize various sourcing methods to identify and attract potential candidates, including staffing agencies and headhunters.
  • Review resumes and applications to assess candidate qualifications inside our in-house systems.
  • Build and maintain a network of candidates through proactive outreach and relationship-building.
  • Conduct initial screenings and assessments to determine if candidates are suitable for open positions.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews, both in-person and virtually
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and priorities.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to assess candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Provide regular updates on the status of open positions and candidate progress.
  • Promote CARDS as an employer of choice through various channels.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Other tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Recruiter, preferably in Waste Industry or Transportation Industry.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of applicant tracking software programs.
  • Familiarity with online job-hunting websites
  • Ability to travel when necessary (less than 25%)
  • Valid Driver’s License
