Job Description
Power Bi Developer Hybrid- Atl or NYC strongly preferred 3 month (July- September 2024) As a Senior Power BI Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing our strategic analytics solutions within a Scaled Agile Framework environment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust data and reporting foundations that support critical business decisions and drive operational efficiency.
Power Bi Developer Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that meet business requirements and enhance data visualization capabilities.
- Lead the end-to-end delivery process from requirements gathering to deployment and adoption of analytics solutions.
- Optimize data models and queries in MS SQL Server, AWS RedShift, and AWS Snowflake to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
- Serve as a technical mentor and subject matter expert for Power BI best practices, guiding junior team members in solution design and development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and translate requirements into actionable insights and visualizations.
- Champion quality assurance processes to ensure data accuracy, report consistency, and adherence to industry standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline delivery processes and enhance overall efficiency.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and implement timely resolutions to maintain system reliability and performance.
Power Bi Developer Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 4+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role, with a strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
- Proven proficiency in designing and developing complex Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Solid experience with MS SQL Server for data manipulation and query optimization.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as AWS RedShift and AWS Snowflake.
- Expertise in utilizing Tableau or similar BI tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience working within Agile methodologies, particularly in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment, is advantageous.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $60 to $70 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
