The Hospital Service Excellence Director will have the wonderful opportunity to manage the organizational Patient Experience Program, developing and enhancing all patient experience activities across the healthcare system. The leader of the Service Excellence Program will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer, and will work closely with hospital staff, leadership, and the community to create and implement effective, patient-centered strategies. The Hospital Director Patient Experience Services will measure goal effectiveness, prepare leadership reports, and facilitate problem-solving and resolution. This leader will also ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, manage the department budget, and support the organization’s continued commitment to exceptional patient experience and organizational values.
This organization-wide leadership role will work closely with the Quality department and the Lean team. The hiring managers seek a candidate with a solid background in nursing, social work, case management, or related healthcare field. Knowledge of patient rights, CMS Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services regulations, and hospital best practices will be crucial in this leadership role.
