Pay Rate/Range: The budgeted salary range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $77,000 to $85,000/year. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience; the budget for the position; and the application of fair, equitable, and consistent pay practices at the University. The full salary range for this position is $77,000 to $139,200/year.

Brief Summary of Job Duties:
Under the direction of the Director of Policy & Administration, the Non-Senate Academic Appointment Analyst serves as one of two the Unit 18 and non-senate appointment specialist supporting the program of academic personnel administration for the College of Letters and Science and is responsible for developing, managing, analyzing, tracking, and monitoring those academic personnel transactions in the College. Must have a sophisticated familiarity with the APM, Red Binder, and the Memorandum of Understanding, the ability to interpret and apply applicable policies and directives, and the ability to independently analyze and consult on all Unit 18 and non-senate appointment matters. The incumbent must advise the Deans, department chairs, managers, and staff of any new or revised policies, and the implications of such on the Divisions and departments. Must be able to directly advise faculty and staff in departments. Performance of these duties requires substantive knowledge of all phases of Unit 18 and non-senate appointment transactions; initiative and judgment in dealing with departments; strong analytical skills, and effective written and oral communication skills.
