Job Title: M&A Advisory Specialist
Job Description:
As a M&A Advisory Specialist , you will play a crucial role in supporting the transaction advisory services provided by our firm. You will work closely with senior team members to conduct financial due diligence, analyze business operations, and assess financial performance to support clients in making informed investment and strategic decisions. This role involves working on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), divestitures, restructuring, and other transaction-related projects.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Financial Due Diligence:
- Assist in conducting financial due diligence reviews on target companies, including historical financial analysis, quality of earnings assessments, and identification of key financial and operational issues.
- Analyze financial statements, cash flow projections, working capital adjustments, and other financial metrics to evaluate the financial health and risks of potential transactions.
- Prepare detailed financial due diligence reports summarizing findings, risks, and recommendations for clients and stakeholders.

Financial Analysis and Modeling:
- Build and analyze financial models to evaluate scenarios, forecast future performance, and assess the impact of transaction-related decisions on financial outcomes.
- Perform valuation analyses using various methodologies such as discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions to support transaction pricing and negotiations.
- Prepare financial presentations and investment memos for internal and external stakeholders to communicate analysis, findings, and recommendations.

Client Engagement and Relationship Management:
- Collaborate with engagement teams and clients to gather information, understand business objectives, and address specific transaction-related needs.
- Support client meetings, presentations, and discussions by providing analytical insights, responding to inquiries, and presenting findings effectively.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through professionalism, responsiveness, and quality deliverables.

Project Management and Coordination:
- Assist in managing transaction advisory projects, including project planning, timeline management, and coordination of activities across different functional teams.
- Coordinate with external parties such as legal advisors, tax specialists, and other advisors to ensure comprehensive due diligence and seamless execution of transactions.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or risks, and propose solutions to mitigate challenges and achieve project milestones.

Continuous Learning and Development:
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in transaction advisory services.
- Participate in training programs, workshops, and professional development opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge of transaction processes.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal methodologies, tools, and resources used in transaction advisory engagements.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field (Master's degree and/or CPA/CFA designation is a plus).
- 1-3 years of experience in transaction advisory, financial due diligence, investment banking, or related roles within a consulting firm or financial services industry.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and financial statement analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in evaluating financial data and identifying key insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling software (e.g., Excel/VBA, Bloomberg, Capital IQ).
