Job Description:
As a Live Chat Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through online chat support. You will assist customers with their queries, resolve their concerns, and ensure a positive experience. Your main role will be to communicate with customers in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries through live chat in a prompt and professional manner
- Understand the products and services offered by the company to provide accurate information to customers
- Assist customers with their purchase decisions and provide recommendations as needed
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns effectively and efficiently
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge, policies, and procedures of the company
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Meet and exceed customer service targets and KPIs set by the company
- Escalate issues and cases to the appropriate department when necessary
- Conduct follow-up chats and surveys to ensure customer satisfaction
- Keep records of customer interactions and transactions accurately
- Adhere to data protection regulations and privacy policies at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a live chat environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and navigate different messaging systems and software
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple chats at once
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Able to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Reliable and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken
