Summary

The IT Manager will be responsible for assisting the initial setup/installation of the IT network, and maintenance of equipment and systems afterwards. The IT Manager will also support colleagues by resolving IT problems, assisting with onboarding, and providing guidance on policies and systems. We’re looking for someone who can independently manage IT tasks while ensuring our team’s productivity and satisfaction.Responsibilities

• Procuring, maintaining, and administering computers, computer systems, and office equipment.

• Planning and implementing IT projects.

• Administering corporate software systems.

• Deploying and enforcing security policies and procedures, including the administration of phones, CCTV, and access systems.

• Providing IT support and resolving problems for colleagues.

• Assisting with onboarding and training of new colleagues.

• Suggesting and implementing improvements in procedures and equipment.

• Maintaining knowledge of IT support, help desk procedures, products, and services.

• Managing an issues tracking system and reporting on issue resolution SLAs.

• Providing support for the manufacturing assembly line, if needed.

• Directing the IT business.

Requirements and skills

• Relevant degree or certifications in IT administration, with basic networking knowledge.

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

• Knowledge of help desk software and remote control tools.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work independently and maintain customer satisfaction.

• Experience as an IT administrator/staff in a manufacturing environment is a plus
