Title: Human Factors Researcher
Location: Foster City, CA
Duration: 3 months
About the Team:
- The Experience Team collaborates with Clients to define and champion the "Human Experience." We embrace a collaborative, data-driven, and iterative human-centered design process. We are growing a team of exceptional people to help invent and design unique solutions. We address new challenges around AI and strive to learn and understand all-around unique opportunities that inform product strategy and design.
- We are looking for a Human Factors Researcher, to join our experience workstream in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
- If you care deeply about the people who use your products and you want to work on some of the most exciting design challenges, get in touch! As the Human Factors Researcher, you will help test the safety and efficacy of internal tools and interfaces that are used in the testing and operation of the autonomous vehicle. You will play a pivotal role in addressing known problems and assisting our cross-functional partners in solving the right problems, not just their symptoms. We are looking for a person like you who is hungry for knowledge, prepared to ask hard questions and challenge existing assumptions, and wants to help the team see the forest from the trees.
- A researcher for this role will be capable of future thinking and planning for the unknown. While this role will work closely with the many teams within the Client, having a good product sense will supercharge success. Importantly, you will want to be comfortable with ambiguity and ready to provide evidence of why the recommended path forward is the best one.
