Job Description

We are looking for an experienced mid rise hotel Construction Superintendent who can oversee and manage all aspects of hotel construction project from start to finish, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget and according to quality standards. Must have the ability to work with architects, engineers, vendors and contractors.

Job Duties:

• Oversee work performed by subcontractors, such as electricians, plumbers, drywall installers, etc.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols on the construction sit to prevent accidents and maintain worker wellbeing.
• Inspect subcontractors work to guarantee it meets quality standards and project specifications.
• Monitor budget costs.
• Maintain communication with project managers, architects, engineers and other stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction.
• Provide regular updates on project status.

Job requirements:

• Strong background in construction management with specific experience in hotel projects
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications
• Proficient at managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
• Proficient in project management software
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations (OSHA compliance)
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Excellent time management skills
• Experience managing and coordinating multiple subcontractors
• Ability to work long hours on-site in various weather conditions
• Bachelors degree preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years of construction experience
