Job Description:

MACCS EXCAVATING LLC is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Hartford, SD. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to help with excavation, construction, and other related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and graders in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and keep machines in good working condition
• Read and interpret construction plans to ensure accurate and precise excavation and grading
• Collaborate with construction team members to complete projects on schedule and within budget
• Foster a safe work environment by following all safety regulations and protocols

Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or excavation setting
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Physical strength and stamina to perform the duties of the job
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
