This is a 12-month limited-term position that may be extended to 24 months with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Working Conditions

This position is eligible for a hybrid telework option, in accordance with CAL FIRE’s telework policy, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

Special Requirements

STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS

Statement of Qualifications

Answers to the three questions below must be submitted in a Microsoft Word or PDF document limited to two pages, single spaced, using 11-point or greater, Arial font.

1) Please describe your experience with ArcGIS Pro, particularly any advanced features you have utilized for managing and analyzing spatial data? Please provide specific examples of projects or tasks where you applied these skills.

2) How do you ensure the integrity and accuracy of spatial data received from external stakeholders? What processes do you implement for data validation and quality control?

3) This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including grantees and project teams. How do you communicate complex spatial data findings to non-technical audiences?
