Job Summary: As a Financial Analyst at Trane Technologies, you will play a critical role in our financial operations by focusing on standard cost setting and inventory/materials analysis. You will work closely with our production, materials, and engineering teams to ensure accurate costing and efficient inventory management. Your expertise will help drive cost control, improve profitability, and support strategic decision-making.

Where is the work: This position has been designated as On-Site.
What you will do: - Develop, implement, and maintain standard costing for all products.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify and explain differences between actual and standard costs.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to analyze material usage and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and present detailed reporting and analysis to management.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts related to production costs and inventory.
- Support month-end and quarter-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Support annual physical inventory and standard cost setting process.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and systems.
- Other ad hoc requests/projects as needed.
What you will bring: - Bachelor's degree finance, accounting, or equivalent.
- CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred.
- 1-2+ years of experience in general accounting or in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Data analytics (Alteryx, Tableau) a plus.
Compensation: Base Pay Range: $61,500-80,950
