Job Summary

We are seeking an organized and energetic Event Assistant to support the planning and execution of various events, from corporate gatherings to social celebrations. The Event Assistant will work closely with the Event Manager to ensure every detail of the event is executed smoothly, delivering exceptional experiences for clients and attendees.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with vendors, clients, and team members to confirm event details and logistics.
• Manage event materials, such as decorations, signage, and promotional items, ensuring their availability and quality.
• Support the Event Manager with on-site event coordination, including setup, registration, and tear-down activities.
• Respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally, addressing concerns and resolving issues.
• Monitor inventory of event supplies and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to promote events and maintain a strong online presence.
• Prepare post-event reports, including attendee feedback and key performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations during all events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; a degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and event management software.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality service delivery.
