Engineering Shop Mechanic

Essential Functions:

• Must have a good knowledge of mechanical equipment and how it operates.
• Must be able to troubleshoot potential problems with equipment.
• Must be able to work with minimal or no supervision.
• Must have some electrical knowledge.
• Must be able to develop and build objects from specs (drawing, sketch or verbal)
• Must have knowledge of fuel safety; job includes working with LP gas, diesel fuel, gasoline, etc.
• Must have general knowledge of hand power tools, drills, saws, etc. as necessary.
• Must be able to learn to operate shop equipment including brake press, laser, welder, etc. as necessary.
• Must be able to operate a forklift.
• Must make safety a priority.
• Must work well with others.

Full-time position, must be able to work more than 40 hours per week.
