Full-Time Medical Adult Day Care (MADC) Caregiver

DUTIES:

The following is a list of services that MADC Caregiver may routinely perform; however, it is not exclusive of other reasonable requests:

• Assists participants with the following:
• Personal care, including dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Use of special aids
• Accident preventions
• Activities of daily living
• Monitors and supervises participants
• Assists participants at mealtime, including feeding participants as needed.
• Assists and encourage activity involvement and provide individualized activities as needed
• Works in Homecare Caregiving as assigned
• Other job duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 10th grade education ; High school graduate or High School graduate or GED, preferred
• Minimum one (1) year full-time or part-time paid or volunteer experience working with adults in a health care or social service setting, required
• Must be able to read and write
• Must have dependable transportation
