### Part-Time Remote Bookkeeper
(Flexible, approximately 10-20 hours per week | Must reside within 10 miles of Palatine, IL)

Are you a detail-oriented and reliable bookkeeper looking for a flexible, remote opportunity? We're seeking an experienced professional to help manage financial transactions and maintain accurate records, ensuring smooth financial operations. #### What You'll Do
- Maintain Financial Records: Accurately record and manage financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Bank Reconciliation: Conduct monthly reconciliations to ensure all transactions are correctly recorded.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Budget Support: Assist in budget preparation and provide financial insights.
- Payroll Processing: Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate payroll entries and timely payments.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations, preparing necessary documentation for filings.
- Expense Oversight: Review expense reports, manage petty cash, and ensure budget compliance.
- Software Management: Utilize and maintain accounting software (QuickBooks experience required).

#### What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills for remote collaboration.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
