We are seeking an Assistant Pastry Chef to join our dynamic team and assist in crafting exquisite desserts that match our commitment to quality and creativity.

• Creating and executing high-quality desserts and pastries.
• Ensure consistency, presentation, and flavor profiles meet the restaurant’s high standards.
• Oversee day-to-day pastry kitchen operations, including mise en place, production, and plating.
• Monitor ingredient quality and inventory, ensuring proper storage and rotation.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations (LA County Health Department and ServSafe standards) .
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume fine dining environment.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop seasonal and special event dessert menus.

• 2+ years of pastry experience in a high-end or fine-dining restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, chocolate work, laminated doughs, and plated desserts.
• Culinary degree or formal pastry training preferred.
• ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain one.
• Understanding of food costing, portion control, and waste reduction.
• Excellent time management, organization, and leadership skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
