The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business combines three Schools: the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management (Johnson), the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management (Dyson), and the Nolan School of Hotel Administration (Nolan). The Dyson School offers Cornell's undergraduate business program, and is home to graduate (MPS, MS, and PhD) programs in applied economics and management. It is expected that our faculty teach across multiple schools within the College of Business.
Dyson houses a top-ranked undergraduate business program as well as graduate programs that award Ph.D., M.S. and M.P.S. degrees. In addition to this position's core focus on international and development economics (IDE), other areas of active faculty research within Dyson also include strategy and business economics; operations technology and information management; marketing; management; food and agricultural economics; finance; environmental, energy and resource economics; and accounting. Strong links to one or more of these other research fields hold particular appeal. Faculty members in the Dyson School frequently collaborate with colleagues in Computer and Information Sciences, Economics, Engineering, Global Development, Natural Resources, Nutrition, Public Policy, and other units on campus. The College leads the cross-campus Collaboration for International Development Economics Research (CIDER), with which this hire is invited to affiliate.
