Green Family Collection and Green Family Art Foundation
The Green Family Collection, a private contemporary art collection in Dallas, TX, seeks to fill the role of
a full-time Collection Manager. The Collection Manager will work on projects related to the Green
Family Art Foundation, a non-profit art foundation dedicated to the public display of art in Dallas, TX.
This person will also assist in day-to-day tasks related to managing all properties that display art from the
collection. The Collection Manager is responsible for ensuring the overall safety, maintenance, and
documentation of all works in the collection. This role provides valuable insights into the workings of an
active private collection as well as insights into the workings of a non-profit arts foundation. A successful
candidate for this position will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
Essential Duties
• Coordinates international and domestic shipping of all incoming and outgoing art, including
loans, and ensures the safe handling and security of the artwork during transit.
• Manages all aspects of artwork storage, including planning and implementing the safe storage of
all works in the collection.
• Updates ArtBinder database, hard copy filing system, internal digital files, and ongoing project
management trackers.
• Creates detailed notes for all meetings and distributes key action items to responsible parties.
• In collaboration with other collection and foundation staff:
o Assess artwork condition (including performing condition reports) and establishes object
conservation priorities.
o Helps plan and oversee artwork installation and deinstalling at multiple properties.
o Assists with exhibition management and other materials (such as preparing checklists,
catalogues, wall text, vinyl and more) related to the Green Family Art Foundation.
• Paying invoices related to the Green Family Collection and the Green Family Art Foundation.
Additional Duties
• Assist with property management of the collectors’ private residence (answers home phone,
confirms and oversees contractors, updates contractor contacts list, and minimal duties related to
wine and rare book collection).
• Attending Green Family Art Foundation exhibition openings and related events.

Requirements
• Ability to exercise discretion.
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university.
• Background in art history, fine art, museums, galleries, or auction houses.
• Ability to pass a background check and provide academic transcript.
• Ability to work weekdays between approximately 9am-5pm and occasional weekend and evening
hours.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Preferred knowledge of collection management practices and procedures including art handling,
storage, and tracking of objects.
• Preferred knowledge of graphic design and marketing.
• Comfortable around dogs.
