Applies skills as a seasoned clinical applications professional to projects of medium size at all levels of complexity, or portions of large projects.
Clinical Systems Training is responsible for all aspects of the Electronic Health Record (EPIC: APeX- Advancing Patient-Centered Excellence) for UCSF hospitals, practices, affiliates, and community partners. The APeX/Epic - Trainer will work in collaboration with the APeX-Epic application teams and clinical/business operations to develop a curriculum to provide training support to a variety of end users, including front-end users, revenue cycle, physicians, nurses, and other users. This position will focus on training and supporting ClinDoc and other clinical applications. Trainers will work in multiple locations, including all UCSF Medical Center locations, Benioff Children's Hospitals-Oakland and San Francisco, the UCSF campus, and community affiliate partners spread throughout the Bay Area. The APeX Trainer utilizes Epic skillset to support one or more of the following APeX applications:The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $165,000 (Annual Rate).
