What you'll do: The Accounting Manager will be the primary interface to our outside accounting partner Quatrro, especially during month-end, and will lead the internal accounting team. This position will manage tax, audit, banking, and rent responsibilities. Track fixed assets, real estate, and rent, and provide reporting as necessary.

How you'll do it:
Standard Weekly and Monthly Duties and Responsibilities:

• Rent master, payment verification, tracking
• LL Reporting where necessary
• Real Estate tax tracker
• Fixed Asset management – project tracker, balance sheet management, progress payments, etc.
• Banking backup – initiate wires and ACH’s
• Expense reporting/employee credit card administration and month-end JE
• Tracking and applying for International Dairy Queen credits
• Quatrro management (with Staff Accountant)
• Cake commissary M/E JE
• American Express M/E JE and payment
• Miscellaneous M/E account entries as needed

Irregular Duties and Responsibilities:

• US Census reporting
• State Tax Audits
• Eisner Amper tax and review needs – extensions, payments, etc.
• Unclaimed property filing
• KY Occupational Tax extensions and filings
• Use Tax/Sales Tax Reporting/Questions

Experience and Education Requirements:

• At least 3 years' experience in an Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant level role, preferably in a multi-unit restaurant or retail company.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
